Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Shaving cream is lubrication that comes from the factory to help the clippers function smoothly. It is a bit aggressive and kinda tears the hair out.

Trim level is adjustable but not great as it clicks in instead of a permanent level depth. It cuts fine and does not need batteries as it has a rechargeable battery. For nose/ear, the trimmer works great.

Cons

About 20 mins is all you get for 10 hours on the charger. Can't use it when plugged in. Charger lights up, but doesn’t charge.

The clipper is defective. Lacking sharpness too. Now the guards move around while trimming, resulting in patchy sections.

Price

That all being said, if you're on a budget, this will do, and it will work, you just may have to baby it a bit and have a little patience.

I do like this, the price of it is great, but i wouldn't buy this if you are getting it for hair cutting, or even nose/ear trimming.

I tried to shave my head with it as many impulsively did when covid began and had to recharge it several times extending the whole process to take 3 or 4 hours

It still runs out of battery quickly i only use it for minimal shaving every other day but have to recharge it after only 3 or 4 uses

Weve had a corded braun trimmer for 10 years that was making some extra noise and went to replace with a cordless

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On first use were not so sure that the numbering on this cordless is compatible with the guides on the older corded model of the same brand

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My suggestion is to start with a higher length setting and then work lower as necessary to get used to how to position this product

As mentioned by another reviewer the shorter guide clumped with hair easily
