Saves $$ over premixed products yet works just as well.

This was a nice purchase as this saves me so much money on cleaning solutions for my braun shaver.

I viewed it as a way to save money on cleaner cartridge refills.

Yes, it does not smell like the official braun refills but i do not care when i remember how much money i have saved!

    Definitely does not smell like 34original34 braun cartridges but then im not sure if that is this product or more due to the scent of the alcohol i mixed it with bought a huge gallon jug of ethanol at home depot that has a pretty unpleasant odor to it

    Seems to clean and lubricate my braun razor well but for some reason doesnt seen to evaporate as well as the og braun cartridges the razor will stay 34wet34 for a very long time after the cleaning whereas with the og braun cartridges the razor would be 34dry34 in less than 12 hour after cleaning

    I was not expecting crystal cleanbrand new clean cartridges but i thought i would get a majority of the hairs out once i soaked them for very long periods of time and rinsing them multiple times in between soakings

    So bottom line if good quality alcohol was readily available and cheap and if i could get the used braun cartridges clean then i would definitely give this product another try however if either of those are too difficult to accomplish i think i would rather spend the time trying to find a really good deal on og braun cartridges
