I have contacted several watch dealers including braun dealers to purchase a new battery but they all said that they hadnt the equipment and expertise to fit a new battery

However contacting the importer zeon ltd resolved the problem and they will fit one but this will cost £24

Finally if you are looking for a made in germany label because the original models did have this label and were made in germany the present models have their bits assembled in the far east and therefore do not warrant a made in germany label
