Pros

Non-contact infrared technology works really well. Works quickly, seems accurate, easy to use. Also, it's a braun and i like and trust the name brand.

Cons

The thermometer reads too low, like 94s to 96s when my patient usually runs 97s. Had a coworker use their thermometer to check and the patient is normal, the thermometer is just useless. They are calibrated in china, not germany.

This no touch thermometer is very easy to use and you get the reading in seconds.

It is really good at quickly giving readings but it has a variance of two to three degrees.

It was miserable trying to get her to hold still with a thermometer under her arm waiting for the temp to register.
