Pros
I use under the arm pit and it beeps when temp reading is complete. Also has a colour reading depending on the age of your child. Easy to change between age ranges, quick to take temperature and automatically switches off.
Cons
Te turning on button is in a weird place, uncomfortable to press, needs to align finger on a specific way. If there is no temperature then it provides the accurate human temperature but if there is fever it shows temperature much higher than what the ... Read More

Easy to use, back lit results are easy to read and the battery life is holding strong through daily use.
Very accurate, very easy to use and i like that the colour tells you whether their temp is high or not

Price
Really reasonable cost especially to have reliable accuracy
It's not the cheapest you can find, but it's worth every penny!
On the positive, it's got a reasonably large display and seems very competitively priced.
Competitiveness
Compared to previous similar thermometers used in the past, this provided results quicker and clearly.
There are a lot of chinese and cheap brands out there, but this one delivers in every aspect.
However i do not have another thermometer to compare results to so don't know exactly how accurate it is.

Its probably partly down to human error and the short time the thermometer takes to give a reading but we find it difficult to reproducibly get the same reading

Its annoying that you always have to choose the age bracket before you can take the reading

Otherwise its always several presses before you can start the measurement and actually most people know what a highlow reading is particularly if they took the reading an hour earlier

The most negative aspect for us was that for some reason the tone of the beeps of the thermometer really upset our cockapoo

She starts making wimpering noises and is very distressed to the point that we have to move her out of the room to use it
