I was given a braun 7 as a gift and am very dissatisfied with its performance. This is totally unacceptable for the price and there's no way to return it. It is a super substandard product.

This orgianl cassette is great quality and last at least 8months with everyday use.
This oem part restored clean close shaves to my braun electric razor.
I bought a couple of the off brand foils and they did not fit properly, were noisy, and did not give me a close shave.
You can leave them on your electric razor for 18 months, but they'll become very dull after only five to six months of use.

This is the real deal - noticed on the first shave!
The braun blades are worth the money!
If you see one at around $20 then it is a cheap clone.

Competitiveness
Braun has two ground up, completely different razors, both sold as series 7.
I would not dare purchase some after market product with a brand name that i cannot even pronounce.
I prefer the "braun series 7, 70s electric shaver head" over the aftermarket brands.
I thought the no name head was the same product as it seemed identical down to the series 7 on the side.

I did purchase an aftermarket brand shaver head and it fit just fine but pulled at my whiskers so much that i didnt even finish with the head swapped back to the old braun shaver head until i could get a replacement

It went on quickly and was clearly cutting better than the original one ended up being at the end of its life
