In fact i found that it shaves better than the sopraised series 9 from braun please see my other review about series 9 in case you are interested i didnt like that model at all

The main point i could criticize about this equipment is that braun system of making the vibrating blades and the external cuttinggrid into a single closed unity called cassette that cannot be opened by the user

The piece is so complex and hermetically closed that you cant clean it manually at all

The only way to clean it satisfactorily and thoroughly is to use the cleaning station that comes with the equipment

But in the other hand maybe a manual cleaning will not be as thorough and hygienical than the complete fluidcleaning cycle provided by the cleaning station

The braun is quite loud and the pitch is high and rather annoying especially if one is shaving while someone else is sleeping close by
