I'm very pleased with the new shaver which gives a close shave and has excellent battery life.
Typical german engineering and quality, the series 8 is a joy to use.
Everything from the ease of handling to the quality of the shave has been a massive improvement.
Overall, i think it's a quality shaver.

With its unique daily cleaning and charging system alongside a programme of replacements to continue top standard of shave and cleanliness this is most impressive to a life time devotee of philips shavers with nivea now no longer made l am very impressed

I would have gone for a 7 again but it doesnt appear to have a fixed head option which the 8 does
