Pros
The 9000s blade series is my recommendation. While a blade will always give a closer shave, this braun does a decent job. The foils are quite expensive so i probably leave it longer than i should before changing.
Cons
The second year after replacing my shaver head, the shave feels slow and dull and takes longer to shave. Norelco makes a better electric razor.

If i try to use the blade with a hole in the foil my face turns into a scrapped up mess. Any attempt to reinsert the cutter only results in the cutting unit popping back out. The foil covers are pieces of *.

4 star because this head is too expensive.
Extremely overpriced as are most braun products.
Would have been 5 star rating but for the price.

We received the braun replacement head super fast and as described.
The replacement head arrived promptly and none too soon to give my husband that close shave braun is known for.
On the plus side amazon had early morning delivery in time for me.
Packaging/appearance
The one i received was a plastic silver one.
The replacement (this item) came in braun packaging with made in germany mark.
Competitiveness
I tried two different bargain replacement heads neither of which was worth the price of postage.
No comparison as this cutter is way better.
I've used the off brand replacements but they don't hold up as well.
