Epilation is not too painful with a sensor smart helping you not to press too hard. Far more successful than shaving or waxing. Considering i am a newbie to epilating, i think it's just that initial kind of pain and that next time won't be as bad.

Poor performance, slow and often catching the skin resulting in pain and bruising. However, the round two pin plug appears to be slightly smaller than the very standard adapter i purchased so am still stuck.

It's nice that you can use it cordless, but apart from this aspect, i see no other advantages from my old basic philips epilator. Lack of torch lets it down. The power is not great either.
