Pros & Cons
Pros
If you do this weekly or even biweekly, it’s less pain. Long term use is painless. Yes, it hurts, as to be expected.
Hair growth happens in cycles and of course it’s not all in sync. My skin is gloriously smooth, and i love that i won’t have to worry about shaving again.
Everything is so well designed; snapping together in every configuration with ease.
The battery life is also commendable, lasting for a good 50 minutes on a single charge. This drastically reduces the time required for each session. I wish you could use it plugged in too but the battery charge lasts longer than advertised.
Being cordless gives you the freedom to use it anywhere without worrying about finding an electrical outlet. It's easy to set up for charging. My favorite thing about this setup is something i never would have guessed when i bought it. This device has... Read More
Cons
This breaks more hair than it pulls out.
The little wand is pretty much useless. Overall, it isn't worth the money and the accessories don't work at all.
Highlights
Quality
Removes hair well and long battery life after recharge (30+ minutes).
This device does the job efficiently, and it’s clear that components were designed with newbies in mind.
Now, after just a year of minimal use, the large epilator wide head attachment is broken and irreparable.
I haven't had this epilator very long and within 2-3 months of use the smaller facial epilator did not work anymore regardless ... Read More
Price
Good value for the money and the battery lasts a long time.
You should totally invest in this, it's really worth every penny
Initially, i was hesitant to spend $154 for all the accessories, but now i’m confident i’ll use them all.
I can justify the expensive price for a product that will be potentially breaking less than a year in.
Packaging/appearance
I keep mine in the sweet little pink velvy satchel it came it and it makes me feel like a lady
Entire electric shaver package is quite convenient for everyday purposes.
Competitiveness
This brand works better than the other one i had!
Comparing to other products, it's less painful, has a convenient light that helps to see the hair, the charge life is amazing.
In summary, the braun epilator silk-épil 9 9-985 is a stellar hair removal device that stands out in a crowded market.
