Pros

The protective storage case for the braun thermoscan ear thermometer is excellent. It keeps the thermometer safe and secure. The kit comes with changeable covers for the ear part.

It is very easy to use and reasonably accurate. Easy to read.

This is on the pricey side admittedly, but this was the cheapest by far when comparing prices elsewhere. It's a bit pricey, but if it lasts over 10 years then it will be worth it.

Thermometre is easy to use and easy to read in low light too. I trust this brand for their thermetres as the gp uses them and for their accuracy.

Cons

Once the battery dies, it stops functioning, even after replacing the batteries. Could not fix even with reset etc. Returning to amazon for a refund.

All of the digital ones i tried are inaccurate. Measuring in ear is utopia - it depends too much on the angle, ear canal shape, time you spend aiming… it’s just impossible in practice. The readings are not accurate. Firstly the cap not holding on and ... Read More

Good but just after 2 years ok.

More expensive than 3rd party but you're sure they will fit properly and not skew the measurements.
