I know this one is pricey, but i took a chance. Love the item. Would not hesitate in making this purchase again.

It is larger and sturdier than i imagined. It is quick, cleans up easily and there is no waste. The composite parts mentioned in other reviews are very hard and i expect durable.

Cons

The motor was already seized and would not even spin. It is a poor design that does not allow for a hand pressure to engage motor" "this is especially annoying since it is getting progressively worse" "when it starts it is okay. Called, no response.

This is not the juicer you're looking for. My 15 year old braun citromatic juicer, which i bought for $25, works better.

It falls off with every attempt at squeezing a piece of fruit. The cone is either on too tight or it's falling off as i'm juicing oranges. The round dome has a very small clip to attach to the arm - clearly a design flaw.

This is the best juicer i have used; plenty of power, takes 1-2 seconds to fully juice a fruit.

Its dishwasher-safe feature saved me so much time and effort, while the stainless steel body added a touch of elegance to my kitchen.

If i forget to open it (my fault) and the juice build up then you remember and open it, it can leak.

Made out of heavy metal, not plastic.

Price

Cost may be hard to justify but it is a very nice appliance.

But that's a small price to pay for the joy it brings my family.

Have had other electric citrus juicers and this is the best.

Breville provides four spare ring clips for the dome in case they wear.
