The small footprint is perfect and both steamer and expresso are consistent. The milk throttling thing is easy to use.
The portafilter is light but sturdy, but this is normal for the price. The filter baskets are hard to push in and pull out on first use, but it gets easier. Only complaint is the 1x or 2x shot basket is hard to remove but i this is not a factor to me ... Read More
The best feature by far is the inline heater they use. It heats up in a blink, is very quiet compared to the barista express, and pulls great shots.
Le mousseur et la quantité of liquide s’arrête tout seul. Facile d'utilisation. Peu bruyante and programmation facile. Fait un très bon café.
Cons
Didn't bother with the repair, this unit makes mediocre steam. Trying to receive customer support from amazon and breville is extremely challenging. Amazon refers you to breville's customer support page.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use, love the fact that i can pre-program the buttons and customize the water quantity i want.
It produces great espresso and milk foam.
Had an issue with steam wand leaking while shot was pouring, thankfully it happened just before warranty expired.
No calibration or exacting of the exact amount of coffee or tamping.
Price
As usual breville the best reliable inexpensive expresso maker does well here .
All in all i'd still recommend this, especially if you buy it when it's on sale (its a bit pricey otherwise).

Sent it in and got it fixed, didn't cost me anything, fairly quick return.
It took me a week to get it down.
Competitiveness
I guess breville has tried to focus more on the machine and less on the accessories so it would become available for this price.
I didn't hesitate to reorder the same model and brand.

If im just having espresso the temperature is perfect if im steaming milk you need to steam it long enough to ensure it doesnt cool your espresso down and give you a cold latte

Rule of thumb is keep steaming until the cup your steaming in is too hot to hold
