Pros & Cons
Pros
This is an incredible product because it combines the best features that any espresso lover could dream of. This machine delivers consistent shots of delicious espresso with every use. The sturdy build gives me confidence that this machine will last f... Read More
The machine is easy to clean and has a large water tank. This means it doesn't need constant refills. The machine practically cleans itself and has an auto-purge function.
I'm very satisfied - the only con i can think of is that all the youtubers / influencers who convinced me to get an espresso machine never show you the footage of the cleanup lol. Overall, this espresso machine is a modern brewing wonder.
Cons
Tried frothing milk and would not froth. The colors are cheap coating on * plastic. The tray is too small to catch cleaning cycle of more than one milk steam. The wand cleaning cycle is really messy.
Electric circuit is malfunctioning and causing a circuit overload. No local repair shop is willing to repair breville machines. Contacting customer support in nothing but frustrating.
Customer service is unreachable. A recording tells you they have reached capacity and to call back later then hangs up. We get an automated response on the phone saying they are experiencing “unexpected system issues’.
This is not an amazon return but a breville refurbished (so they say) machine. After about 20 cups it failed. Warranty expires in 8 days.

The machine purges the frother after each use, and the drip tray gets filled with diluted milk.
Coffee quality and grind matter a lot.
Price
Mine was $12 and it works so much better than the original.
While pricey, it produces excellent results with both the shot extraction and the milk texturing.
It's more than paid for itself by now.
And it was more than worth it.
Shipping
Breville was willing but slow in responses to on-line help queries.
Packaging/appearance
My bambino plus was a christmas gift and paired with a baratza encore grinder.
Competitiveness
I have two other breville espresso machines, the express and the barista pro, which have both been very good.
The bambino plus wand provides steam equal to much more expensive machines and does it virtually instantly.
I'm only comparing it with what i would get from starbucks.
The lattes taste much better than what starbucks and other coffee shops have to offer.
