Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very solid purchase because it ticks all the boxes of what makes a great espresso machine. What truly sets this machine apart is its barista-quality performance. The only negative is the lack of the advertised double-beep after programming t... Read More
The quality and performance of the barista pro are unmatched. It's easy to use and its durable construction means it'll last for years. What truly sets it apart are the customizable settings.
It boasts a large water tank, ensuring that you can enjoy multiple cups of your favorite brew without the hassle of constantly refilling. The brushed stainless steel gives it a sleek and modern look that fits well in any kitchen. The stylish design ad... Read More
Cons
When it works, it's a great espresso machine, but don't buy if you aren't willing to repair it without support from breville. Breville was great about taking it back for free, and repairing/replacing it (i'm still not sure which they did). The online ... Read More
The custom shot volume brewing is incapable of consistently dosing an accurate amount of water. The grinder, being purely time based, is also incapable of dosing coffee accurately. A flimsy part renders the machine useless until you get a replacement.... Read More

Leaking, not heating and no longer steaming milk.
Price
It’s a great value also and not hard to use at all.
Don't hesitate to buy it, it's worth every penny.
That’s literally thousands of dollars saved not buying 1 cup of coffee per day at a coffee house and getting the same quality drink.
A barista pro at 600 or 800 dollars, depending on if you catch them on sale, will pay for itself in a matter of months and my f... Read More
Shipping
I was sent a return label for the malfunctioning machine and was shipped out a brand new machine within 2 days.
With a few pictures and 3 quick emails, they thabked me and sent me the tracking number for the new part.
Packaging/appearance
I was on the fence about buying used - acceptable but it was basically new in the box.
Competitiveness
I, with no doubt, will keep purchasing breville espresso machines as long as they keep making the same quality machines at the ... Read More
