Pros

Once you have the grind time and grind size dialled in for your coffee machine, it consistently produces excellent grinds. The quantity is consistant and i push down the press and it always goes down to the same level. The dial component has 60 variou...  Read More

Will overheat if using extensively. My wife is a bit of a coffee nut and needs it super hot.

Cons

Coffee clumps all the time. Crema is about less than half of what i'm getting out of the same beans in a new eureka atom. Tried grinding at max coarseness with no luck.

Breville is just overpriced nonsense. Quality is not on pair for the prices they sell their products for. Buy a cheaper product.

I'm not usually pessimistic but i can't come up with any other reason they wouldn't just make the metal piece extend out as far as the plastic fins, and even just forgoe using plastic for it at all. Oh yeah - this has fragile plastic gears. Useless pi...  Read More

Quality

Excellent device, easy to use and so well made.

Provides consistent and properly measured grinds every time.

My previous grinder produced an inconsistent grind, from too coarse to powdery.

I have had rotary coffee grinders for decades and they are much louder than this one.

Price

Very satisfied, particularly with the prime day pricing!

What i was after were the cost, ease-of-use, consistency, and flavor, and this grinder does just that with a nice fine and fluf...  Read More

If you are looking for a great grinder but don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the one to get!

Personally when i set out to buy a proper espresso burr grinder, cost was an important factor.

Packaging/appearance

Looks awesome next to our new breville espresso machine!

It looks great next to my breville machine and it was easy to dial in just the right amount of coffee

Competitiveness

More expensive products have not worked as well as the breville.

You cannot buy genuine breville impellers anywhere and the after market ones are useless.

It is noisy, not as much as a previous one from another brand, but, it is a grinder.

But after a closer look and some use you see that it’s better than other entry level grinders but more expensive.

For something which sole purpose is to just grind coffee beans its a bit painful to see just how expensive the espresso grinder market is and how limited the options are and as a newbie i cant really gauge the true value of something that costs 500 more than this

Even this grinder i wouldnt define it as cheap despite it being one of the cheapest options
