I am so thankful for the timer it's basically my alarm when it starts grinding my coffee at 5am. It’s nice waking up to a fresh pot every morning.

Fresh ground coffee compares to none. The flavor is richer and more consistent. My coffee is delicious!

It is simple and purposeful. Cleaning is relatively simple to clean. Rinses it with a paper towel, especially the part that connects to the *.

It brews a great cup of coffee. Specifically costco kirkland house blend by starbucks. All i do is tell the machine how strong i'd like my brew and how many cups.

It grinds the beans well. The adjustment of grind size and coffee strength really is relative to the bean. Which is sorta fun to figure out the first couple of batches everytime you get a new bag of beans.

The difference in cost, while certainly not negligible, isn’t the main reason for my unhappiness with regard to this machine. This product is very over priced for the lack of normal coffee maker features. Maintenance is a complete nightmare.

The * for dispensing the ground coffee is very narrow and is horizontal. The water fill is irritatingly small. Send it back to manufacturer for repair, they send it back dented.
