Pros
The built in grinder is awesome, and you can turn out coffee with the speed of a barista. Save money on expensive latte’s and make them at home with the built in milk wand.
This machine is a terrific piece of machinery. Such a cool * with the black. Love this machine.
Clean it so it’s lasts! Water mould is real and you have to stay on top of it! Another minor annoyance is the placement of the water tank.
J'ai acheté cette machine il y a maintenant 5 ans. Cette cafetière est super polyvalente. Il faut faire attention aux dégâts. Je fais en moyenne 2 cafés tous les jours.
Cons
It seems to be a standard scripted response from breville in an attempt to blow us off and get rid of us. It's nice when it works and has many convenient options but if it’s not reliable, why buy it. Consider another brand.
New gaskets do nothing to solve the problem. It no longer grinds the coffee properly and does not brew properly either. The manufacture has their own cleaning procedure that they don't tell you about.
The warranty only lasts a year, and you better hope you get this issue earlier than that. Overtime, screws come loose from the vibrations i think. Of course it's out of warranty now.

Price
I had it in my wish list for 3 years, with all the new models out there, it was still worth the price to buy this one.
At this price, less than 2 years, it's a joke!
The repair fee is as high as $391, it includes over $250 labor charge, this is ridiculous.
They are expensive though so wait for a sale.
Shipping
(update) now breville offer me to service my machine for free, and sent it back to me already.
Competitiveness
Also i like this steam wand better than the barista pro ones.

The beans are grinded and put into the stainless steel portafilter automatically
