I'm using a rocky rancillio grinder with the 920.

It's so nice to see a company that still stands behind their product.

Do not get this machine with the grinder attached you will have many more problems.

We have had to send it back twice and had to argue a little with the service department to get repairs completed.

That’s not a knock on breville, but rather a compromise of packaging (ie small machine =small steam boiler).

But the 870 was nice because it ground directly into the portafilter.

Competitiveness

I’ve had a few different espresso machines over the years (most recently a gaggia classic) and this one is so superlative.

I've had several different breville models but this one takes the cake!

I ordered some descaling solution[1] and went through the process described in the manual.

I got a great deal on it and paired it with a baratza sette 270 grinder.
