Pros & Cons
Cons
Was just okay for my cashew butter. The handle also locks in front of the machine, making it hard to see the contents.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy, easy to shred veggies, easy to clean.
Adjustable slicing blade, choice of grating size, powerful motor, no open hole in the bowl, 3 sizes of chutes for veggies or fruits.
This is a gimmicky design flaw on an otherwise excellent machine.
We previously had a hamilton beach processor and it didn’t last a year when the shaft broke.
Price
What a great price for such a quality machine.
This is definitely a huge step up; lot of money for a kitchen tool, but wow.
So even though it was $250+, i ordered it.
Initially bought a $100 kitchenaid and it was horrible.
Shipping
Quick delivery and easy transaction overall .
It arrived today, no charge, not even for shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Honestly, i have to say this is the most beautiful appliance i've ever had.
It's packed like russian nesting dolls in 3 boxes, one smaller than the next, so no way is this going to be damaged.
The building attendant pushed the box (big enough to put a large person in) into my apartment and took everything out for me.
Competitiveness
This is my first food processor so i have nothing to compare it to but this product seems amazing to me.
After our old one gave out i decided to spend a little more money and buy a better brand.
After doing some comparison pricing all i had to do was figure out if i wanted to get this one or the one that is a step up from this one.
After searching the current reviews on food processors i decided on the breville.
