This beater is great. The front part is smooth, which lets you wipe off any splatter. Rubber flaking off the beaters is the only complaint.

Cons

Stay away from this and kitchenaid. It's dangerous to have plastic pieces coming off in food. It overheats easily, the tips of the beaters that go into the mixer come out hot and almost burned me because i wasn't prepared for that. The motor boggs dow... Read More

Was hoping its just a fluke, but doubtful after reading other reviews. After using this maybe twice a week for the last two months, it no longer changes speed and struggles to get through anything even remotely thick.

The scraper beater beaters are awful!

It is not. Very disappointed. My mistake. Shame on breville. Shame on you, breville.

I have had it now for just over 6 months and the scraper parts of the beater have torn and ripped apart.

The silicon on the beaters shredded within two months.

I’ve always bought inexpensive handmixers i took a chance on this one i was pleasantly surprised it’s worth the money

Paying $130 for a hand mixer is absurd, but this little gem is worth every penny.

Don’t let the price dissuade you - just buy it.
