I really like this kettle, looks and feels like a good strong quality kettle, use it daily for the past 4 years or so and has never failed.

I love this kettle for its ease of use, fast boiling speed, and auto shut-off feature.

The rest of the innards were in great shape but as with many devices, the power contacts finally failed.

This is second almost identical one we got, first one works for us for more, then 15 years and just recently stop functioning.

    This new one doesnt have the automatic turnoff once the water is boiling

    Its more basic than my previous kettle this one doesnt have any temperature settings or stay warm button its literally the kettle and an onoff switch with a bell that goes off once the water has heated up but thats all you really need

    Recently the interior screen that slides into position to strain the hot water broke so i decided it was time for a new kettle

    Both are a very solid grade of stainless steel and the only difference i can spot in form and function is that theres now a seethrough water level indicator on each side of the pot one in cups one in ml instead of one behind the handle
