Quality
Kettle itself seems to be good quality and works great.
It's functioned flawlessly and has truly increased my quality of life.
There is an obnoxious beep when you remove kettle from the base, place it back, hit any button, and when it finishes heating.
The awful choice of beeper and the inability to turn it on/off.
Price
I am so happy i chose this one, although it was more expensive.
This is the most amount of money i've spent on a tea kettle but so far, it's been worth it.
Well, i paid $129 in 2018 for this breville electric kettle, and only $139 this time around.
This is well below what regular inflation would have made the price.
Shipping
I ordered a new one the last day of december, arriving the first week of january 2024.
Competitiveness
I love this kettle the same way as many other appliances from breville i have.
Rather than buy a cheaper kettle, we replaced it with the same brand /model.
With breville, there is more control with water temperatures for tea and coffee and cleaning is simpler.

To my surprise the kettle i have received had a single select temp button while the temperature settings are leds which show current choice

I looked up the user guide pdf in the product guides and documents section it shows the model with individual buttons for each temperature exactly like picture 3 see attached picture

I chatted and talked with 2 amazon representatives and they offered to issue a return label and call manufacturer directly on explanations for providing misleading information
