Pros
If you're a hot beverage enthusiast like me, this kettle is your new best friend. The 'keep warm button' is a godsend, ensuring my second cup stays as hot as the first.
Cons
Compared to the the base is much larger, it's much harder to lift and pour (it's just bulky) the largest drawback is that you cannot see the water level. The dreaded beeping every time you touch a button or move it is silly.

Quality
The removable scale filter and exact temperature control make cleaning and brewing a breeze.
The auto shut off feature and large capacity make my morning routine simpler and more efficient.
After a little over 7 years of owning this kettle, i ran into an issue where the unit would no longer heat.
Only over the last six months has it begun to show signs of old age, shutting off before the water is heated.
Price
This is the most amount of money i've spent on a tea kettle but so far, it's been worth it.
Well, i paid $129 in 2018 for this breville electric kettle, and only $139 this time around.
Sadly it's almost doubled in price, since i bought it.
This is well below what regular inflation would have made the price.
Shipping
I ordered a new one the last day of december, arriving the first week of january 2024.
Packaging/appearance
As if that wasn't enough, the boil dry protection gives me peace of mind, knowing that i won't accidentally damage the kettle.
Competitiveness
Rather than buy a cheaper kettle, we replaced it with the same brand /model.
With breville, there is more control with water temperatures for tea and coffee and cleaning is simpler.
