It is perfect and very, very nice! Very happy with this purchase. By the way, the oven is great too! Love it. Btw, it is excellent quality and value.
Pizzas fit perfectly on top of my toaster-convection. Helps contain any heat that is dissipated as the toaster oven is used.
They create an insulating air space on the top of the oven to dissipate heat. It prevents heat from damaging kitchen cabinets that may be above the oven. It's protective, extra usable space that is warm but doesn't get hot.
Everything breville is pricey but i've found their quality is worth it. Very sturdy and easy to clean. Light weight but sturdy and flat.
Cons
The alleged discounts are non-existent. Breville is too fine a company not to have engineered around the safety hazard. A cracked cutting board.

It appears to be very well made and allows me to use the space on top to place a few items which is what i wanted.
The stable silicone feet provide an added layer of safety while cutting, and also make it easy to transfer.
Even though it is well designed, the reality is that heat rises and eventually it will discolor your wood board.
No, it doesn't get too hot on top, the metal shakers (in photo) are barely warmer than the room temperature.
Price
I think anyone with the oven is going to want this board even at this price.

The wood itself doesnt get too warm either i have gripped it when the oven has been on for awhile

As a single person i use the smart oven as my regular oven and use my regular oven for storage so this board is exposed to constant temp and humidity changes

I have no intention to use it as a cutting board however i still oil it and maintain it as if i will

Others have mentioned cracking and the oiling should help preventmitigate the board from drying out too much
