Pros & Cons
Pros
The machine does what it is supposed to. The bucket that the liquid mixture is churned in is a good design that prevents leaks into its containing chamber.
The provided spatula is the right tool for extracting the ice cream once it's ready. Don't fill it too full (i. Use a tablespoon of tapioca starch or other thickener) add about 1 1/2 - 2 cups of cream and your flavorings.
The parts are really easy to assemble, disassemble, and clean! Although expensive, this is really a fantastic product that i hope to use for years to come. Moving parts are dishwasher compatible.
My son says it is one thousand percent good. It exceeds my expectation for home made ice cream.
Cons
It creates a loud metal grinding sound somewhere inside it. The features that make this so called smart are irrelevant if machine can't complete cycle.

I didnt want one of those ice cream makers that you have to have the bucket frozen i wanted to be able to make ice cream whenever the mood strikes me without having to take up valuable freezer space by having the bucket always in there

The blade slips on to a shaft that is integrated into the bowl
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
When trying to scoop the finished ice cream out of the bowl the shaft really gets in the way and makes it frustrating to get all the ice cream out of the bowl

Right now it makes a lot of noise near the end

It is quite messy getting the frozen product out from the canister
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The thing you need to consider is that the machine can only make one batch and then it needs to dry out which takes at least an hour before you can make a second batch
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Once a batch is finished the frozen canister will create condensation that adheres to the interior walls of the machine
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Because the walls are still super cold no amount of wiping will get rid of the condensation
