I also like the glass body of the kettle.
Just wipe the bottom with paper towel or a small clean rag.

Namely a beep would go off at taking off the base putting back on the base pressing a button done boiling several beepsnot that it would be that helpful if it were but the beep noise itself wasnt a pleasant one

Seeing that very few reviews mention the beeping my guess is that either it doesnt bother others as much or the beeping varies with each model possibly being entirely absent in some
