Pros
Great product. Great sleek product. Beautifully made item, also.
Perfect for brewing oolong or green tea. This kettle is for tea and coffee lovers who have an appreciation for the finer things in life. The flavours are so much more robust when you boil the water at the various temperatures.
The beep is not annoying to me as i have read other reviewers complaining about. The keep warm feature is also very helpful. It is a bonus that it has different boiling temperatures for different kind of teas.
Just ensure the kettle is properly positioned on the base, just like the picture. Looks clean on the counter.
It's quite pricey but worth it. It is a lot more money than the old one but the build quality and features are superior. It's a little pricey but very high quality.
Cons
After a water boil, the vessel inner wall above the water is full of steam and lasts for hrs. This new one has none.

Competitiveness
The same excellent quality i expect from all of my breville products.
I am in a big fan of breville brand in general and this kettle is one of their slick products.

Namely a beep would go off at taking off the base putting back on the base pressing a button done boiling several beepsnot that it would be that helpful if it were but the beep noise itself wasnt a pleasant one

Thankfully we had the electrical expertise to stop the beeping manually but it seems very strange that such a refined expensive kettle doesnt have an onoff toggle switch for sound effects

I understand that it could be useful for the visually impaired but again it should be an option that you can turn off

Now that the beeping is gone we couldnt be happier with the kettle however if we couldnt get the beeping to stop we would have returned it
