Pros & Cons
Pros
The whole thing is ridiculously easy to clean. The only thing i don’t like is that water gets into the long blade shaft section.
Immersion blender works like a charm to puree a big batch of tomato veg spaghetti sauce. Whips thick yogurt and will blend chunky soups into a puree. I use this to make my soups smoother, make hummus, and to make cauliflower and broccoli rice.
Breville immersion blender is a replacement for a very old braun unit. A quality appliance. Beau produit.
Soup attachment is brilliant no back splatter. Chops onions and celery in no time at all. Comes with two different sized bowls for mixing and chopping.

Competitiveness
I picked the breville over other popular immersion blenders by kitchen aid, braun, etc.
I'm more aware of the recommendations to stop blending after 15 seconds, so hopefully this will last longer than the last brand... Read More
While the blender is more expensive than some it works much better than the less costly models i have used.
