The toast and bagels are toasted evenly (no light spots or burned edges) i like the lift & look lever, which allows you to peek at the toast without stopping. The temp slider has a quality feel to it.

The controls are intuitive and easy to use. The controls on this model are more streamlined than those of the earlier model. It's not overly heavy because it's moved each time we use it.

Tried two. This one is a fake. Buyer beware how true.

The breville toaster has no option to make only one slice of toast. While breville covered the toaster under their warranty it is a lengthy process to send back the unit and then have them send back a new toaster.
