Pros

It's perhaps too early to write a review (i've only had it a week), but so far it works flawlessly. Little louder than my old breville but nothing extreme. Overall, even though this unit is a bit pricey, it works very well for us.

Cons

Every time the phone que is over 40 mins long and it disconnects after you have been on hold for a long time. When i call to be in que again, they just disconnect my call with the automated message saying we have your call back request already.

This espresso machine is great with consistent results and a large water tank for smooth operation.

The smart grinder technology allows me to customize my shot volume, and the adjustable grind settings ensure that i can achieve the per.

Don’t even get me started about the coffee bean learning curve.

And don't even get me started on the dual boiler system!

Price

I was skeptical at first especially the price but it has fulfilled my expectations!

Overall, even though this unit is a bit pricey, it works very well for us.

This went down in price literally the day i received it and they responded to my inquiry for a price adjustment without any hassle at all.

Competitiveness

However, it's only 4 stars because of a few things i hope breville can/will fix or enhance in future models.

There is a lot more than barista express that i can control in extracting an espresso.
