This is the only brewer i know of that automatically switches to an immersion brewer if you choose single cup. It makes an auto mated infusion brew in the cup setting. It even comes with a durable carafe and the option for manual brewing.

The auto-start function ensures that my coffee is hot and ready when i wake up. I no longer have to constantly refill it, which is a huge time-saver in the morning rush. A timer setting for auto morning brews.

When the machine is working properly, the coffee is exquisite. The machine must be cleaned regularly. Replace the upper burr on the machine every two years or so. It allows you to customize the grind for your preferred coffee strength.

The design of the carafe -- while attractive -- has to be the worst ever. It's a huge disappointment because it does not brew coffee consistently. The plastic rim design, there will be about a cup of coffee at the bottom that will not pour out.

The only redeeming feature of this machine is that it produces a good cup of coffee. The daily grind on the machine far exceeds the value.
