It grinds perfectly and can brew from a single cup to 12 cups at any strength easily. Water heats very thoroughly. Carafe keeps coffee warm for a long time.

No matter what setting it is set to it grinds a lot

I tried to calibrate in the menu but still grinds the same amount it should of fixed the problem but did not so instead of keeping the hopper full of beans i now have to add every time i make a pot i put in the amount for a pot or a 8oz cup

The coffee filter component is a little small to make a high strength pot of 12 cups of coffee and inevitably youll end up with overflow on the counter

There is a hole in the back of the unit to deal with overflow of water when filling the reservoir

My final complaint is that the design of the carafe is a little wonky and requires a certain touch to empty the last of the coffee out of the carafe

We drink the same quantity of coffee as before but the only thing i can attribute it to is the quantity of coffee beans the machine would grind per pot
