Pros
Kettle is good and generous size. The toaster is good too and doesn't affect the taste.
It's a little noisier than my last kettle and the 'pour' is a little slow. It makes a satisfying roaring noise when it boils, but then all kettles do.
Cons
Only worked for less than 3 months then leaks boiling water out of the bottom. The toaster is no better really,the outer body including the controls are plastic.

This was a replacement and am pleased with it,but disappointed to find amazon reduced the price after i bought it!

We found one boil of the kettle, was enough to remove the plastic smell in the air.

I bought this as a replacement for a delonghi kettle which cost double the price of this.
I already had a breville kettle but wanted one in red.

It is quite noisy so not the right item if looking for quite kettle but boils fairly quickly especially for smaller quantities

I got it to use one for gluten free and one for normal bread so if i am not toasting gluten free bread in slot 1 i still have to turn it on to use slot 2 which wastes energy

Our old kettle lasted 6 months then the handle fell off and was giving electric shocks

I dont think there is a quiet kettle my last one was reviewed by a reputable company for quietness and scored highly i did not agree

I probably wouldnt have bought this particular model if it hadnt been an open box item but as it had a little discount and breville are a good brand so thought id give it a go

I was a bit disappointed taking it out the box because whilst it does look like the pictures it is very plasticky in a 70s retro way

Amazon asked me to give it a noise rating its a kettle so its certainly not quiet but it doesnt seem any different to any other kettle

They also asked for flavour and happy to say there is no taste i did once buy a kettle that tasted and smelt like burning plastic that one did get returned
