First, let's get the obvious out of the way - the colours are garish.
Competitiveness
It makes the world function, or at least makes it easier for us all to function in the world.
Only preference would be to keep the warming plate on longer than 30mins.
I have solved this by sitting the machine on a cheap anti-slip mat (the rubber kind you can get from the pound shop).

What buyers have to be aware of is that in the event of a breakage there is no replacement carafe available from breville so the maker is rendered useless in that event

I found the coffee using their measurements too weak for a single mug
