Packaging/appearance
We definitely wanted a bagel option and ideally able to use the toastie cages from the dualit we had purchased.
I also enjoy the filter inside stopping the limescale to come out.
My coffe tastes much better with water not boiled, (95deg) the bitter flavours do not get into the drink.

Pleased i didn’t buy a designer kettle for 2-3x the price.

The one thing that would improve this kettle is a mechanism to open the lid rather than just having to yank it off which makes me a bit fearful of spilling water onto myself it is stiff to get off

Toast the bagle on the bagle setting and its beautiful cooked toast it on the white bread setting its horrid dry and hard

I suspect this will be quite reliable because they are no moving parts apart from the temperature switch

Don’t wet the base though not sure how safe it is touching something quite so metallic which is connected to the mains and wet at the same time

I also attempted to turn the bread onto its side in an attempt to have full coverage of the slice which would jam the lifting mechanism as a result and is not recommended
