This is my second one—to replace the first after the onoff switch somehow detached and sank into the body of the kettle it looked something like an “innie” belly button

The highest setting cuts off too fast so we have to press the on button again to get the full boil we need

I am on my fourth one of these and it has developed the same fault the first three did so will probably try a different manufacturer this time

Initially the plastic ring housing the switch will crack a section will probably fall off then the switch will start to come apart and eventually fail

There is a new model but it looks like this designmanufacturing fault has not been addressed same location and reviews complain of the same problem
