Pros

Snazzy looking in the black truffle color, many functionality selections & don’t discount breville brand reliability- a superior winner. The 2-year limited product warranty provides purchase security. This product is terrific, indeed!

The preheat time is fast and sweet. Convection and air fryer is also important since many brands now tout this in their marketing materials. The convection oven works very well for baking.

The breville smart oven is a marvel in my kitchen. The interior oven light is like a mini spotlight for my culinary masterpieces. It's like having a personal chef, but without the chef hat and apron.

There is no secondary bottom, so everything that goes into the oven will drip/crumb/spill onto the removable tray. The manual also says not to cook food that drips like wings in the air fryer basket which kinda defeats the purpose.

The door is flimsy to the point of feeling cheap, it has no weight to it and flies shut. Design flaws out the *. The aluminum is clearly thinner. It’s way too big. This was a massive letdown of design flaws.

This is a glorified toaster oven. The toast takes way too long, doesn't toast evenly, and worst of all, it's dried out and tastes nothing like it does coming from a regular toaster.

Competitiveness

We had the cuisinart air fryer before the breville and it worked fine.

I tried other brands that cost less and had great reviews - but i hated them all.

One would think breville could provide better insulation which would also make the product more energy efficient.

As with most breville products, this one is better.
