Pros
This is the best toaster i have ever used. The toast is covered top to bottom in a beautiful even golden glow. This machine toasts bread and crumpets perfectly.
Cons
Does not toast evenly. This is the 2nd breville toaster and won’t ever purchase another. It has completely died just 2 years from purchasing.

For a toaster that costs as much as it does i have had much cheaper toasters that were able to toast evenly.

You will need to watch your toast carefully with this one each time

Once you dial it in it’s very accurate but will differ from toast to toast so keep using the keep feature or else you’ll undercook or burn easily

The toaster is well thought out other than the distribution of the heating elements

The bottom third of the slice remains almost untoasted while the upper part of the slice cooks well

To get the bottom third of the toast a reasonable colour it is necessary to almost immolate the rest of the slice

Had 2 of the 4 slice models and recently changed to the 2 slice model to get back some bench space in a new house

I could have bought a cheaper toaster but it wouldnt be as much fun as this one
