It was very much uncalibrated and not sure if thats the fault of the previous owner or factory but if youre having issues dialing the grind size the burrs are adjustable not just by the knob but you can open the machine and set up the distance between the burrs

A tool is provided to poke into the hole and basic cleaning will help you out severely but my biggest criticism with the wand is that its incredibly slow

With the mass of quality control issues ive seen floating around it only leads me to believe you may need to get lucky to have a perfectly functional one which i cant put a stamp of approval on behind a 700 product
