Pros
The breville smart oven is a well built toaster oven! This thing is amazing. I've had several toaster-ovens over the years, and this one beats the others hands down. It's well designed and highly functional.
The quality is top notch and the price is very reasonable for what you get. Yup, cost more than most for sure. But, worth the expense. This decision to purchase this particular brand was made after reading the customer reviews.
Cons
I feel this product is overpriced by at least $100. I'm not wasting another return/ replacement hoping 3rd time is the charm. I am saddened and terrifically disappointed in you.
The oven takes quite a while to preheat, and once at temperature the outer surfaces of the cabinet are dangerously hot. To set the time and temperature, you have to keep twirling the button since it defaults to 1 hour and 350 degrees. No matter what i... Read More

Good temperature control on these units, running a little bit warmer than the setting display by 10 degrees.
The ui is brilliant, it's intuitive, responsive, mechanical and simple.
Over time, without an appliance cover, it rusted and quit working.
(the heating elements finally became unreliable, so this is our 2nd purchase of the identical model.
Price
I feel like i should have paid a maximum of $50 or looked for a used one elsewhere.
Packaging/appearance
Look is nice, instructions took some getting used to.
