Pros

This rice cooker outperforms any of the cheaper units. It does all kinds of rice but we mainly cook jasmine. The only disappointment is that there is no timer on the screen.

It's easy enough to use, and i like how the booklet shows you how to cook different types of rice based dishes. After reading the instructions and knowing what setting to use it is that easy to use. Produces perfect fluffy rice every time.

Cons

The steam valve dripping problem persists even when using a 1. Hot water drips down the steam valve hole everytime you open the lid. This is incredibly annoying because you then must wipe it down every time.
