Pros
The breville is a staple in our kitchen. It heats quickly, cooks quickly and cleans really easily. Using baking paper keeps mess to a minimum even though it's already easy to clean.
The only area of concern is the lock on the hinge.
This sandwich maker is a workhorse. It does exactly what you expect it to. Very happy with this purchase.
Cons
A real disappointment for a named product. Super disappointing for a known brand. Downside of buying on amazon is if the product is broken it's not worth returning.

Super quick to heat, and the hot plate has a lip on it so you can easily put eggs on to cook.

Great for a quick meal at best price
For the price it's a bargain and i'm sure you will enjoy their convenience as much as we do.
Waiting to try with thicker breads an focaccias but a cost effective changeover.

Competitiveness
Replacing an el cheapo kmart special, and you can certainly see the difference.
To be honest, it makes the bread a little too dry compared with my previous sunbeam sandwich maker.
We previously owned a breville sandwich press, so decided to replace our old one with the same brand.

Cheese only half melted though and the bread was done so you need to decide on darker toast or lighter colour and a half melted cheese slice
