Pros & Cons
Pros
When the queen's happy, there's peace in the kingdom. I have a few of their other electric items, which are all very good quality, and the same with this. Both are outstanding.
This is a very high quality stainless steel sauce pot that has impressed me a lot. Even on my gas stove, it outperforms any other pot i own. This pot is in my opinion a great value for the price as this pot will outlast me.
It is extremely sturdy, easy to life, and easy to wash. Clean up is easy with detergent and water. They look beautiful and clean up nicely.
It's the best cookware we've ever owned. Should outlive most of my other cookware. Breville's even-cooking and much easier to clean than calphalon.
Good for soup, rice and stew. If i'm filling containers with chili, (i always plan to have leftovers) i know what size to use.
Cons
This pot is soooo heavy. Literally have to be the hulk to tip it over. The ergonomics of the handle is not right either.
Highlights
Quality
The quality and finish is first class.
All in all, great quality product, i can recommend it and give it 5-stars.
I already knew about breville’s superior quality because i own a breville juicer.
And with the tapered edge, it's not the friendliest to the edge grip technique when hand-washing.
Price
This way i can justify the price when i make a box of macaroni and cheese.
So this is where the price comes in as i dont feel they cut any corners.
But handle gets hot, common fo the price you can fix that issue.
Packaging/appearance
It heats up evenly and nothing has stuck or burnt onto the bottom.
It has laser engraved graduation marks on the inside of the pot for quickly measuring the contents.
This lovely breville 2 quart saucepan has packaging that makes it look like it came from a scientific lab.
Competitiveness
I was looking for a stainless steel pot and this fit my needs right as i was looking for something smaller than my 8qt stock po... Read More
I have an all-clad 4 quart pot, which is supreme.
I have the 2qt and 3qt sauce pan.
This one is faster than chantel but slower than all-clad.
