The grip seems to be just the right size for my own hands and the lid is weighted heavily enough that it wont come flying off the first second that your dish starts boiling

The instructions also caution against cutting on the pan surface with a sharp metal utensil which may also cause damage also not covered by the warranty

What the warranty does cover is defects including those that may emerge from normal home use for the lifetime of the cookware
