Pros

Glass still looks brand new as well as the inside steel is shiny silver like it's brand new. The reason i think this is a really great product is because of its ease of cleanliness. If only cleaning the rest of my kitchen was this effortless!

They are not well made enough to justify their outrageously premium price. The durability is horrible. It's very noisy. The low review is it seems so wasteful for a higher-end product to go into landfill after only five years.

There is a major design flaw that needs to be corrected. It looks very unsafe & manufacturing defect. The customer support is the worst i've ever dealt with.

It feels very sturdy, boil water very quickly, and it really has lasted us quite a while (well over five years now).

It is obviously very well made and feels real solid.

After nine years of about four boils of hard water per day, it finally failed.

This product gets an unqualified thumbs-up for its easy-to-clean feature.

Price

Funny story: i was in home goods and saw this for a really good price.

The speed with which it boils water could give a cheetah a run for its money!

Then, i saw this on prime day for an even better price and i said "screw it, i'll buy this and store it until the current one breaks.

It's a bit cheaper now than it was in 2013.

This electric kettle is packed with features.

I've been a fan of this kettle from the moment it was unpacked.

Competitiveness

I am amazed at this kettle with all of it use that it's still fantastic compared to other models i've seen that are much newer.

My only "complaint" is i wish different finishes were offered to match my other breville items.

The breville weighs significant more than the other kettles and it isn't very comfortable to lift one handed with 1l of water in it.
