Pros
It's pricey because it’s well made and looks and feels of premium quality. Comes well packaged. Looks nice, easy peasy to use, water nice and hot.
Makes a cuppa in seconds. Also saves reheating the kettle which costs £££. Well worth ditching the kettle.
Cons
This is not instant hot water, it's less than a minute. It splashes hot water out of the cup and onto the surfaces around. You can only boil a preset amount of water, but what that amount is isn't specified anywhere. Just use a kettle.
Difficult to fill, requiring two attempts sometimes with a small spillage. The plastic jug itself is very heavy. The drip tray is very easily moved and therefore dangerous.
Didn't turn on. Disabled so not about to repack and trundle to post office. Changed the filters washed it out a dozen time to no avail.

The water comes out the right temperature its not going to burn the inside of your mouth but easy to drink within minutes

We bought this one cup kettle so we didnt have to boil a hole kettle just for a cup of teacoffee because not everyone drinks as often as me

The filter sometimes doesnt flow very quickly and reverts to a trickle taking ages for the water to filter through its just simple to slightly pull the filter up and push back down sometimes a few times and the water starts to filter through quicker
