Pros & Cons
Pros
Only needs a kitchen towel to wipe it before putting in the bread. Lid locks and it folds down nicely for easy upright storage. This little grill creates exactly what i'm after, with very little fuss.

Cons
Plates are curved and have a smaller surface area than expected so would not take halved ciabatta or panini easily. Floating hinge has no setting/stop lever so the lid just squashes whatever you're cooking. Accomodates only two sandwiches, not three.
Utter rubbish - terrible build quality for such a legendary brand. Pretty disappointing for the price paid to be honest. Disappointed is an understatement!

Excellent grill used a lot for bacon, and cooks eggs without oil

This is a disappointment as now always have to grab a jar to prop under the handle so the top doesn't touch.

Can't go far wrong with this for the price.
It is at the lower end of their range, very simple to use but great value.
I wanted a well known trusted brand at a reasonable price.
