The right hand side will be used more so will probably fail eventually but the left hand side would still be useable but not because of this silly design

We tend to read left to right so it seems strange to have to use the right hand pair first if only tow slices being toasted but hey ho

Can’t put the left side down without the right side which is annoying

The only negative would be that the two slots on the left only work if you are also using the two on the right so you have to load the toaster right to left
